About Vera

Vera Radosevic  is a freelance photographer based in Belgrade, Serbia.

Her life passion is photography. Searching constantly for primordial, authentic and pure in people and in the world around us. This authentic and primordial as true values, slowly disappearing into the realities of the modern world pervaded by globalization and the battle for profit. Enjoying photographing indigenous cultures in the world which are being often marginalized and rapidly homogenized into an increasingly globalized world. With camera in her hands, she wants to preserve these values and moments from oblivion.

She lived, worked with children in orphanages and traveled through Africa for two years and her current inspiration mostly derivate from that experience.

By profession, she is graduated political scientist and her photography works have appeared in diverse photography exhibitions, festivals, publications and presentations – some of them are photo presentation and public lecture in the Museum of African art, Belgrade, Serbia, photo exhibition and public lecture about Angola in the National Museum of Semberia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, photo exhibition in Art Primitive gallery in Sarzana, Italy, collective photo exhibition in National Museum, Belgrade, Serbia, etc. She won the first prize for the photo contest VEA “Vivre en Angola”, in June, 2018 and all money raised from a humanitarian auction from the sale of a winning photo was given to homeless children in Luanda, Angola. In April, 2019. she won third prize in photo competition “Archeological photography –  a link of past and future” organized by National Museum, Belgrade, Serbia.

She is open for cooperation and exhibitions in Serbia and abroad.
